I came to Dana a year ago to help me develop a sustainable and fun exercise routine. I was always active as a child and young adult with swimming, skiing and hiking. Like many people I became a person who sat in front of computer and HATED the exercise usually found at gyms. BORING!!!
Working with personal trainer, Dana, I got introduced to kettle bells a fun full-body workout. She worked with me to understand my fitness goals and my body’s weaknesses including lower back problems and multiple foot issues.
Dana patiently worked with me to build up my confidence swinging 7 lbs, then 10 lbs, now 15 lbs (doubles and single) kettle bells. I even train with the occasional 20 pound kettle bell, although I do whine a lot about that. I am fully enjoying my new kettle bell life, and will test my new strength and stamina river rafting the Colorado River next week.
Thanks Dana for showing me it’s never too late to get fit again!
